Scout Application Monitoring is a lightweight, production-grade application monitoring service built for modern development teams. Just embed our agent in your application: we handle the rest. Scout gives you everything you need to keep your applications running smoothly:

APM (Application Performance Monitoring) - Track down performance issues to the line of code with visibility into response times, throughput, memory bloat, N+1 queries, and slow database queries.

Error Monitoring - Error tracking with intelligent grouping, automatic context capture, and instant notifications. All error data integrated with APM traces and logs in one application for simplified debugging.

Log Management - Powerful log aggregation with automatic context enrichment from APM data. Filter instantly by controller actions and endpoints, track log origins, and search through 14 days of retained logs with flexible severity filtering.
Agents
We support Ruby, Python, PHP, and Elixir apps.
Our agent is designed to run in production environments and has low overhead. Every minute, the agent transmits metrics to our service over SSL.
